Scholarship Information

Scholarship information can be obtained from guidance plus bulletins are posted in each teacher's classrooms. Also, you can follow the Bright Futures 2003 link listed on this page to find our valuable information about the Florida Academic Scholars Award (FAS), the Florida Medallion Scholars Award (FMS), and the Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholars Award (GSV). These Bright Futures Scholarships are funded by the Florida Lottery.

If you have any questions, see your guidance counselor or contact them at 726-2241, ext.243. If you need a loan to assist with higher education, contact the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) for a loan guaranteed by the Florida Department of Education at 1-800-366-3475.

Student Transcripts

Student transcripts are kept at Citrus High School for five years. If you need a copy of your transcript contact the Guidance office with the student name, year of graduation and where the transcript is to be sent. If the transcript will be picked up, we need 24 - 48 hours notice and the date you will be picking it up.

There is a $5 charge for each transcript. The charge must be paid before the transcript will be released or sent. If you will be paying by check, make the check payable to CHS.

Transcripts being sent to Florida colleges and universities will be sent via computer and will be received within 24 - 36 hours from the time they are sent (after payment is received).

If you graduated more than five years ago, contact Beth Racicot at 352-726-1931 x2212 for a copy of your transcript.
