Highly Qualified - Teacher Aide Applicants Only

A teacher aide/paraprofessional who provides instructional services must meet one of the highly qualified requirements listed below:

  • Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education.
  • Obtained an associate's or higher degree or earned a minimum of sixty (60) college credit hours at a college or university accredited by one of the six (6) regional accrediting agencies
  • Passed the ParaPro Assessment with a minimum score of 464

The School District of Citrus County administers the ParaPro Assessment at the District Office, 1007 W. Main Street, Inverness, FL, 34450.
