Thank you for your interest in the Citrus County School System. We post our position vacancies on our website and our Job Hotline - (352) 637-9715. Job Postings are updated Mondays and Thursdays at noon. Vacancies are also posted at each school or department and in the District Services Center. An online application for the appropriate job category must be completed, (instructional, support, or substitute) to be considered for a position. Applications remain active for one year.

When there is a vacancy that is of interest, attach your application by logging into your online application. Click on the “Jobs” tab. You will find the available position vacancies listed on this page. Click on the “View/Apply” link on the left hand side for any position for which you are interested. A phone call should also be made to the school/department that has the opening for information regarding that specific position. If applying for a position and claiming Veteran’s preference, applicants should notify the school/department when calling.

Interested applicants will be screened by the Principal/Supervisor of the school or department with the position vacancy. Applications may be screened and only those selected through a screening process will be interviewed. Interviews will be held at the school/department where the vacancy occurs. Upon selection, the Principal/Supervisor will submit his/her choice to the Superintendent for recommendation to the Citrus County School Board.
