TEACHER EDUCATION COUNCIL

The Teacher Education Council (TEC) is a group of teacher-leaders who represent each of the schools in the district. The representatives are elected by their school's teachers.  TEC representatives are dedicated teacher-leaders who serve as a professional development liaison between the district office and the individual schools.  The group meets several times during the year, generally from 4:30 - 6:30 pm.

There is a representative from each school,  the ESE Department, Personnel Department, Educational Services Department, CFCC, Cypress Creek, Pope John Paul II Catholic School, Seven Rivers Christian School, and Citrus County Education Association (CCEA)

If you have questions about the council or how to become a TEC Representative, please contact Michael Ballard at 726-1931 x2236 or your school TEC representative.
