Employees of Citrus County Schools will be sent an email with instructions on renewing their teaching certificate approximately one year prior to their certificate expiration date. Renewal requirements must be completed prior to the expiration date. It is the responsibility of the teacher to obtain documentation of the completed requirements. Official transcripts of any coursework used for renewal must be provided. Professional Development points will be verified through the teacher’s Frontline Professional Growth account.
