Mission Statement:
The mission of the Risk Management and Employee Relations Department is to provide and maintain a safe working and learning environment, to offer quality employee benefits and to minimize loss through the protection of our employees, students, visitors and property.
The responsibility of the Risk Management Department is to provide support to staff members, through education and training, regarding employee benefits, wellness and safety. We identify, evaluate, and control risks by reducing or eliminating those risks. We encourage the safety consciousness of our staff in their daily operations. Risk Management is a resource and service provider to employees regarding employee benefits, retirement programs, safe schools, Sick Leave Bank and Workers" Compensation. We strive to enhance quality education and enrich student lives by supporting the employees of the Citrus County School District and by ensuring a safe environment for all.
