(Inverness, FL) Join the Citrus County School District in
celebrating February as Career and Technical Education Month!
February marks a special time to recognize and celebrate the
incredible journey of Career and Technical Education (CTE). As a proud partner of Get There, Florida’s
workforce education initiative, we’re excited to join in the celebration of CTE
Month. CTE programs throughout Florida are rooted in limitless potential and
hold the key to personal and professional growth. For students eager to
fast-track their success, CTE is a ticket to a world of opportunities.
Here in Citrus County, our district offers more than 155 CTE
courses to our high school students, encompassing 70 industry certifications.
These courses connect students to more than 38 different Programs of Study
Pathways. These programs are not only accessible but also affordable and many can
be completed in a year or less, opening doors to careers with high-wage
potential.
This CTE Month, let’s celebrate the possibilities,
accomplishments, and prospects that CTE offers. Join us in recognizing the
significance of CTE and be part of a community committed to building a brighter
future for our next generation.
